SITAGLIPTIN is very effective drug and shows excellent results too
but it has many some side effects like nasopharyngitis which acute
viral disease which is commonly known as common cold. It is
Infectious disease of the upper respiratory system of nose and
throat. Symptoms of such disease include sneezing, sniffling, sore,
scratchy, and coughing, headache and tiredness but in severe and
rare cases symptoms are conjunctivitis (red, itchy, or watery eyes)
and these symptoms are accompanied by cold.
These cold infection lasts for five to seven days with coughing and
catarrh which continuous to remain for 10 to 15 days. Nasal
congestion is also added side effect which is very common infectious
disease and occurs to a person 2-4 times per year and the 12- 13
times per year to children under the age group of 13 years. In
addition to nasopharyngitis some other side effects like headache
and body pain are some added side effects seen due to the use of
sitagliptin. Due to its very high rate of metabolism and its effect
to alter the rate of hormones which leads to hormonal changes and
thus uneasiness and adverse feeling condition is normally faced by
people taking these medicine regularly. Feeling of sleepiness and
sleepy expression is also one of the side effect seen in most of the
cases were person’s mind is pressurized to sleep and eyes appear to
be bulky.
But all the side effects mentioned above are not so vigorous and its
effects are not seen after giving up the drug hence it is widely use
by diabetic patients.
